Profile

Listyani Wijayanti started her career as a research scientist at The Agency for The Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) on plant biotechnology.

She completed her PhD program at Saitama University majoring Flowering Physiology (1996).

At the end of 2000 she was appointed as Director of Centre for Pharmaceutical and Medical Technology for nearly 5 years, then assigned as Senior Engineer on Marketing of Technology for 2 years.

Having experience and good scientific and technological track record, she was then appointed as Advisor to The Minister of Research and Technology tackling 2 big programs of Food and Health Technology.

After two years served in the Ministry of Research and Technology – Republic of Indonesia, she returned to BPPT as Deputy Chairperson of BPPT for Agroindustrial Technology and Biotechnology.

During her position as “government officer” Listyani had visited some countries i.e. : Japan, Korea, Australia, Germany, Myanmar.

She is keen on implementing ABG Triple Helix Synergy and has been pioneering so many partnerships with universities, government institutions as well as private sectors.
