Profile
- Dr. Koji Nishimura received his B.E degree from Ritsumeikan University,
Japan, in 1999, and his M.I. and Ph.D. degrees from Kyoto University, Japan,
in 2001 and 2006, respectively.
From 2001 to 2003, he was with Sony Corporation.
From 2007, he has been with National Institute of Polar Research, Tokyo, Japan, where currently he is a project associate professor.
His major research interest are radar signal processing, multi-channel
signal processing, remote sensing for the atmosphere, and satellite
communications.
Dr. Nishimura received The Prize for Science and Technology from the
Minister of MEXT, in 2014, and a prize from the prime minister
(http://www.mlit.go.jp/report/press/kaiji01_hh_000326.html, in Japanese), in 2015.
